Description

The screw is an element of the worm gear cooperating with the screw. The screw has the character of a toothed wheel with a helical tooth line. The outer surface of the worm wheel rim is concave, covering part of the circumference of the worm. We have the option of making a worm wheel using the envelope milling method. Screws are made as monoliths (casting from one type of metal alloy), as well as by joining the rim with the hub (the rim is cast on a hub made of a different alloy). The scroll wheel is standardly made of B101 centrifugally cast iron and phosphor bronze, and the hub is made of C45 low carbon steel.

On request, we make scrolls:
- according to the provided technical documentation;
- based on the measurements of the delivered screw;
- with a different number of teeth and module;
- with or without a hub;
- with a hole and a groove for a keyway;
- with right / left tooth inclination;
