Screw actuators (screw jacks) MRP are mechanical devices for linear travel up to a distance of approx. 2,5 meters:
- vertical movement (lifting, lowering down) of objects weighing up to 10 tons,
- horizontal movement (pulling, pushing, pressing) of objects with a much greater mass than that specified for vertical displacement depending on the ground.
Screw actuators allow for virtually any speed of weight movement not exceeding the maximum speed specified for the size of the actuator.
Screw jacks can be combined with each other. One engine can drive several or even several actuators. The bolt stroke is then synchronous.
The accuracy of the extension and positioning of the screw can be achieved thanks to the use of an encoder, which can be mounted on the motor or actuator. It is also possible to use servo motors also available in our offer.
Screw actuators, to a certain extent, can replace hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, which are often emergency.
Thanks to the use of limit sensors, the screw stroke is under control. The screw feed can be cyclical and automated.
The actuators ensure self-locking which is a great advantage in responsible applications. If a quick and reliable stop is required, we offer motors with a brake or a brake built on the actuator in the set with the actuator.
The actuators can be driven by hand, direct current (DC) motors, hydraulic and air motors.

The advantage of screw jacks over pneumatic and hydraulic:
- no need to expand the system for instrumentation;
- no need to have an aggregate, compressor;
- more precise than pneumatic ones;
- possibility of manual drive, both manual and with a DC or AC motor;
- big stroke;
- self-locking;
- lower price.
