DC electric motors

Description

DC electric motors
DC motors can be brushed or brushless motors. The brush motor consists of an armature, commutator, brushes, shaft and an excitation magnet. The armature, which is part of the rotor in the case of a brushed motor, is an electromagnet and the excitation magnet is a permanent magnet.
Today, DC motors are widely used in industrial automation, vehicle automation, sliding doors and medical devices. Manufacturers offer a wide range of drives with mechanical (brush) and electronic (brushless) commutation.
If we use a DC motor as a generator by rotating its rotor at a constant angular speed, we will also get direct current at the output, because the motor in the same way converts mechanical energy into electrical and electrical energy into mechanical.
